Robbie Williams joins Ant & Dec for a Christmas sing off.

by JPM on Dec.29, 2009, under Music

This year Ant and Dec had their own Christmas tv special, in a similar style to the old Morecambe and Wise shows.

One of the highlights of the show was an amusing version of the 12 days of Christmas with Robbie’s choir taking on Ant & Dec’s choir.

The video of the Christmas song can be seen below.

An Interesting Article on losing weight using Wii Fit.

by JPM on Dec.29, 2009, under Technology

Here’s an intersting Online Diary written by someone running an experiment to see if it’s possible to lose weight using Wii fit.

Click here to read Day 1

I’ve often wondered if devices and games like Wii Fitt can actually be used as a real tool or if it’s just a cash cow.

I do like the skiing games that use the Balance Board though.

Which Days of the Week Bring the Most Traffic

by JPM on Dec.11, 2009, under Blogging, Traffic

fast trafficFollowing on from this article I thought I would see which days are the busiest for Internet traffic to my sight.

The general opinion across the Internet is that weekends are the quietest time for Web hits but my original investigation for Septembers traffic on Netbook-experience.com showed that Fridays were the quietest.

How that I have more data to examine, 3 months on Netbook-experience.com and 1 complete month for Techplay-experience.com I wondered if my results changed.

Here are the results:

Day Average number of hits
Tuesday 27
Thursday 27
Monday 29
Wednesday 30
Friday 30
Saturday 33
Sunday 35

As you can see Tuesdays and Thursdays are the quietest but Weekends continue to be amongst the busiest day.
