Fortunately I’ve found an application called GeoBeagle, which is fantastic, it integrates into the Geocaching website, and then uses gps and google maps to show you your location and where the cache is. It also uses the Radar application to point you in the direction of the cache and tells you how far it is away from you.

Best of all it’s free.

I encountered a small problem when trying to send a text message to most of my contact list on My T-Mobile G1.

The built in SMS application works very well but it is a bit awkward when it comes to messaging many people. To send a message to a recipient you need to type their names into the To box – the application with offer you a pull down list of names as you type. This method works very well for sending a message to one of two people but if you have a lot of recipients then it’s not very efficient.

There is a very simple solution to this problem, there is a free Android application in the Market called TextEasy.
TextEasy lets you put a tick box next to names in your contact list and then send a message to them. This works really well and allows you to quickly and easily hand pick as many people as you want to send a message to.
