This weekend saw the launch of the new Doctor Who series on the BBC featuring the relativity unknown actor Matt Smith
In this post I mentioned that Matt Smith had previously starred in the 2007 BBC adaptation of the Sally Lockhart book The Shadow in the North.

Matt Smith has been winning praise for a while and has featured in BBC Dramas before, including the 2007 adaptation of the Sally Lockhart book The Shadow in the North, featuring along side Billie Piper, JJ Feild and Jared Harris.

The BBC have released a new trailer for the Forth coming Doctor Who series.The trailer Features  Daleks, Cybermen, Weeping Angels, and a new TARDIS.

Matt Smith has big shoes to fill following the popular and much appreciated David Tennant    and he looks to be bringing his own style to the Role.

The series begins on the BBC in the UK on Saturday 03/04/10.
